AWS – Irish Homeless Street League

We were delighted to showcase the partnership between AWS and the Irish Homeless Street Leagues in this short brand video. The final product captured the fast paced, action packed and carnival vibe of the entire day!

AWS approached us about creating a video for their work with the Homeless Street Leagues, the brief was clear: they wanted something that didn’t feel like a standard corporate video. It had to be visually engaging, emotionally grounded, and polished enough to feel at home in a commercial setting. 

We knew early on that the key would be blending striking live-action footage with thoughtful animated elements. This approach allowed us to highlight individual voices and real experiences while giving the video a dynamic visual style that stands out.

Filming took place at Tallaght Stadium, where we spoke with representatives from AWS who highlighted the importance of working with local initiatives. We spoke to players from all the different national teams, who detailed the pride an outlet such as the Homeless Street Leagues had given them. Their moving stories about the positive impact the competition had had on them created a real sense of authenticity. This combined with the interviews from some of the founding members and long-time supporters of the Homeless Street Leagues tied together an authentic, and moving piece that fully captured the positivity and good nature of the entire day. Each person brought their own perspective, and every story added depth to the video. the heart of this video is about people coming together for something bigger than themselves. The final product was a video with a balance of professionalism with humanity. 

At Spicy Dog Media, we believe that even corporate videos can carry real emotion and purpose. This project reminded us of that, and we’re proud to have helped tell a story that matters.
